What is Turf Games?
Turf Games is the UK’s leading functional fitness competition, designed to test your strength, endurance, mental grit and ability to work as part of a team. It’s open to athletes at all levels and attracts thousands from across the country. Each event brings high-energy workouts, heavy lifts, cardio grinds and team challenges, all against a buzzing backdrop of community, support and competition.
The London Summer Festival is the flagship event on the Turf calendar—hosted over two action-packed days, with athletes competing across divisions in an atmosphere like no other. It’s loud, it’s sweaty, it’s tough… and it’s why we keep coming back.
What. A. Day.
Saturday 21st June 2025 will be remembered as a standout moment for DLPT.
Twelve of us—eleven incredible clients and myself—stepped into the Turf Games arena with one goal: give it everything. After months of committed training, team practice and individual progress, the big day finally arrived.
And let me tell you—we delivered.
Two DLPT Teams. Two Top 10 Finishes.
We entered two teams into the Everyday Division: Team DLPT and Team DLPT First Reserves. The result? Two top-10 finishes—with one of our teams landing a 4th place finish out of a massive field of teams.
We fought for every second, every rep, every sprint. The energy on the floor was electric. Everyone left everything out there.
Yes, we narrowly missed the podium—but 4th place in a competition of this calibre is something to be seriously proud of. And to have both our teams in the top 10? That’s no accident. That’s commitment.
Why Turf Games Is More Than Just a Competition
Turf Games isn’t just a test of fitness. It’s a celebration of progress, hard work and belief. From the training in the weeks leading up to the roar of the crowds on the day, it’s an experience that pulls you out of your comfort zone and into something bigger than yourself.

One of them was standing on the stage after we finished feeling completely elated and realising what a brilliant, kind encouraging group of people I get to do these competitions with! A magic moment ⭐

Highlight of turf was how the 2 teams got behind each other to give the extra push. Nothing better than someone one screaming at you to go faster (you and Chloe probably the best at it) 🤣🤣

After my first comp at Winter Turf in Feb, it clicked what it was all about - working together as a team!
Danny trained us for months, to overcome every possibility on the day, pushing us all further than we each thought possible.
I can honestly say that it was the most fun day ever! Like being a kid at sports day all over again, but for adults.
I cannot wait to do it all again!

Stronger Together
The camaraderie. The coaching. The commitment. That’s what makes DLPT different.
This wasn’t just another day at a fitness event. It was proof of what can be achieved with the right mindset and the right people around you.
To everyone who represented DLPT on the turf—you absolutely smashed it. I’m proud of every single one of you. We showed up. We stood tall. We worked as one.
And we’re only just getting started.
